Day 01: Arrive Taipei (-/-/-)
Arrive in Taipei. Check in to your hotel for the night. The rest of the day is free at your leisure
Day 02: Taipei – Hualien – Taitung (B/-/-)
Today is an early start (5:30am), you will transfer to Hualien by train. Explore the beautiful East Coast Scenic Area before checking in to your hotel for the night.
Day 03: Taitung – East Rift Valley – Hualien (B/-/-)
Visit famous Mr Brown Avenue and other highlights, before continuing to the Matai’an Wetland Ecological Park where you will learn about local wildlife. Stay overnight in Hualien.
Day 04: Hualien – Taroko Gorge – Jiaoxi (B/-/-)
After breakfast you will embark on an east coast tour, admiring the beautiful natural stone sculptures. Late in the afternoon you will check in to your hotel in Hualien for the evening.
Day 05: Jiaoxi – Taipei (B/-/-)
In the morning visit the National Centre of Traditional Arts, then visit a local distillery to sample Taiwanese Whisky. Stop at a local orchid on your way back to Taipei.
Day 06: Taipei – Seoul (B/-/-)
Discover Taipei on a city tour. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Seoul. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel for the night. The rest of the day is free at your leisure.
Day 07: Seoul – Gongju – Jeonju (B/-/-)
Transfer to meet your guide in the morning. Then travel to Gongju and explore the Tomb of King Muryeong and Gongsanseong Fortress. Continue to Jeonju and wander through the traditional Hanok Village.
Day 08: Jeonju – Suncheon – Yeosu (B/-/-)
After breakfast you will continue to Gwangju, home of modern democracy in South Korea. Visit the Bay Garden in Suncheon*, then continue to the port city of Yeosu and explore before checking in to your hotel for the night.
Day 09: Yeosu – Busan – Gyeongju (B/-/-)
Explore Jinjuseong Fortress, famous for its link to the Japanese invasion. Travel to Busan and wander through the Fish Market and take a tour of the beach area. Continue to Gyeongju and enjoy time at your leisure.
Day 10: Gyeongju – Andong – Wonju (B/-/-)
Today you will explore Gyeongju, a museum without walls, and visit the UNESCO World Heritage Listed Seokguram Grotto*. Then transfer to Andong and wander the World Heritage Listed Folk Village. Continue to Wonju for the night.
Day 11: Wonju – Pyeongchang – Mount Seorak – Seoul
Visit famous Pyeongchang, then wander through the UNESCO Biosphere Preservation District of Seoraksan National Park, home to rare flora and fauna. Take the cable car to Gwongeumseong Fortress*. Afterwards travel to Seoul and make your own way to the hotel.
Day 12: Seoul – DMZ – Seoul (B/L/-)
Tour the famous Korean Demilitarized Zone, the border between North and South Korea. The afternoon is free at your leisure.
Day 13: Depart Seoul (B/-/-)
This morning you will immerse yourself in bustling Seoul on a half day city tour until it is time to transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
