This fly-in tour takes you to the grand Etosha National Park, Namibia’s prime wildlife sanctuary that is bursting with African animals.
Day 01: Johannesburg – Windhoek (-/-/-)
Midday departure from Johannesburg for Windhoek. On arrival transfer to AVANI Windhoek Hotel or similar for overnight stay.
Day 02: Windhoek – Etosha (B/-/D)
After breakfast, we travel north to Namibia’s prime wildlife sanctuary, the Etosha National Park covering over 17,000 square kilometres. Check in at Etosha Safari Camp or similar for 3 nights stay, the remainder of the day at leisure; either take in the savannah environment or cool off in the sparkling pool.
Day 03: Etosha (B/-/D)
Early morning and late afternoon game drive exploring this awesome wildlife park. This unique area of wide-open plains and dense bush savannah surrounds a parched salt desert known as the Etosha Pan – surrounded by a number of waterholes that ensure the survival of 114 different games and 340 different bird species. Wildlife that may be seen includes the endangered black-faced impala, Black Rhino.
Day 04: Etosha (B/-/D)
Enjoy early morning and late afternoon game drives, try to spot wildlife you didn’t see on Day 03.
Day 05: Etosha – Windhoek (B/-/-)
After a leisurely breakfast, free at leisure until early afternoon departure back to Windhoek. Transfer to AVANI Windhoek Hotel or similar for overnight stay.
Day 06: Windhoek – Johannesburg (B/-/-)
Morning at leisure and midday departure to the airport for return flight to Johannesburg.
