Day 01: Depart Australia (-/-/-)
Depart from Australia for Taipei.
Day 02: Arrive Taipei (-/-/-)
Upon arrival at Taipei Taoyuan International Airport, make your way to the nearby airport hotel and check-in. The remainder of the day is free for you to explore the city at your own pace using local transport.
Day 03: Taoyuan – Nantou (B/L/D)
Today we will visit one of the most popular spots in Taiwan, Sun Moon Lake Scenic Area. Enjoy a lake cruise and the beautiful mountain views during your cable car experience before enjoying a Aboriginal Cuisine for lunch. From here, proceed to Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village where you will see a combination of Taiwanese recreation, tourism and education. Enjoy a Shaoxing banquet for dinner.
Day 04: Nantou – Zhanghua – Taichung (B/L/-)
After breakfast visit Chung Tai Zen Centre Portal, a place of spiritual cultivation and refuge. Afterwards, proceed to Lugang Town, Tianhou Temple, Ding Ancient House and Nine Turn Lane. Enjoy Taiwanese cuisine for lunch before visiting Taichung Opera House and the famous Fengjia Night Market.
Day 05: Taichung – Taipei (B/-/D)
After breakfast, enjoy the Pearl Exhibition Centre enroute to Yehliu Geopark where you will learn about the development process of mushroom rocks and more. After, proceed to Jiufen Mountain Town before visiting the beautiful Shihfen Waterfall. Your journey today continues to Shihfen Old Street famous for its shopping and sky lanterns. Enjoy the renowned Champion Beef Noodles for dinner.
Day 06: Taipei (B/L/D)
Travel to National Palace Museum this morning to view the collection of ancient Chinese artifacts. Afterwards visit Martyr’s Shrine, Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall before your tour concludes at Taipei 101. It is currently the ninth tallest building in the world, take the fast elevator to the observation deck to overlook the panoramic views of Taipei!
Day 07: Taipei – Sapporo (B/-/-)
This morning transfer to Taipei Airport and fly to Japan. Upon arrival to Sapporo New Chitose Airport, you will be picked up at the airport and be transferred to the hotel with your tour guide. Check-in and the remainder of the afternoon is at your leisure.
Day 08: Sapporo – Biei – Sounkyo (B/L/D)
Start your day with a colourful Hokkaido Tour. Begin your journey to Furano and visit the Tomita Farm showcasing more than 150 species of flowers! After head to Biei-cho where you will enjoy lunch with a view and in the afternoon explore the breathtaking scenery of the “Blue Pond Lake”. We will then drive back to Sounkyo in the evening.
Day 09: Sounkyo – Abashiri – Gun – Akankohan (B/L/D)
After breakfast, start your tour to visit Sounkyo Valley, Ginga Falls, Ryusei-no-taki and the beautiful Dakan Valley in Sounkyo gorges. En-route to Okhotsk Ryu-hyo Museum visit Abashiri before learning about the icy sea creature “Clione limacina”. This afternoon visit the crystal clear lakes before transferring to your hotel.
Day 10: Akankohan – Tokachi-Gawa (B/L/D)
After breakfast, enjoy a cruise on Lake Akan before continuing your journey to visit the hometown of Chlorella. Afterwards, visit the “Kushiro City Red-crowned Crane Natural Park”. Then, transfer to Tokachi River where your hot spring hotel is located. This evening taste exquisite Japanese cuisine made from Hokkaido beef and seasonal vegetables grown from the local farms.
Day 11: Tokachi-Gawa – Toyako – Jozankei (B/L/D)
Today visit Jigokudani also known as Hell Valley. It offers a spectacular display of hot steam vents, sulphurous streams, and other volcanic activity. To finish the day, visit the Bear Park and enjoy the Usuzan ropeway to view the panoramic views of Lake Toya.
Day 12: Jozankei – Otaru – Depart Sapporo (B/-/-)
This morning travel to Otaru and enjoy a leisurely stroll beside the Otaru canal. Afterwards, visit the Kitaichi Glass shop where you can appreciate the beautiful pieces of glass art. Transfer to the airport at midday to start your journey home.

Arrive in Australia, reminiscing the beautiful scenery and culture of Taiwan and Japan.
