On this journey, take an in-depth look at the amazing Palaces and Monuments of India and explore some of the most impressive UNESCO World Heritage sites and search for the elusive tiger in the Ranthambore National Park.
The dazzling Forts, Palaces and Monuments of Delhi are evidence of Mughal opulence and British sophistication. The Taj Mahal world’s greatest monument of love is definitely the highlight together with the visit to Agra Fort and local markets. Not to be missed is the Pink City of Jaipur to witness the rich architectural legacy of Jaipur merchants, ride an elephant to Amber Fort. We enjoy Wildlife safari at Ranthambore Tiger Reserve and spot various wild animals and Royal Bengal Tiger before returning back to Delhi.
Day 1: Australia – Delhi
Morning flight to Delhi. On arrival meet with our local representative and assisted with a transfer to the hotel. Stay 2 nights in Delhi.
Day 2: Delhi (B,L,D)
After buffet breakfast and short briefing, start your sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi, including the Qutab Minar and the India Gate; Gandhi Memorial; Next, two renowned 17th-century landmarks: Lal Qila – the Red Fort palaces which we drive pass, the Jama Masjid and Chandni Chowk Bazaar where enjoy cycle rickshaws ride.
Day 3: Delhi – Jaipur (B,L,D)
After breakfast we will travel to Jaipur. Upon arrival at Jaipur, check in to the hotel. Rest of the evening at leisure to explore the colourful bazaar of this pink city. Stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 4: Jaipur (B,L,D)
Visit Amber Fort with a decorated elephant ride. Photo stop at -The Palace Of The Wind. Afternoon enjoy Jaipur City including City Palace Museum and Jantar Mantar; one of the famed observatories which provide fairly accurate information to this day.
Day 5: Jaipur – Ranthambore (B,L,D)
Morning drive to Ranthambore National Park, one of the biggest and most renowned National Parks in Northern India. Enjoy a village tour before transferring to the hotel for 2 nights stay.
Day 6: Wildlife Safari (B,L,D)
Enjoy morning and afternoon safari by canter in the Ranthambore National Park. The park is famous for its tigers and is one of the best locations in India to see the majestic predators in its natural habitat amongst many other reptiles, birds and wild animals.
Day 7: Ranthambore – Agra (B,L,D)
Morning we drive towards Agra. Visit Fatehpur Sikri on the way, an outstanding example of Mughal architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage. Stay overnight in Agra.
Day 8: Agra – Delhi – Australia (B)
Morning pays Sunrise visit to Taj Mahal. Visit the impressive 16th century Agra Fort. Afternoon travel back to Delhi and tour finishes with transfer to airport for your overnight flight home.
Day 9: Arrive Australia
Arrive home in the evening
