On this journey, take an in-depth look at the amazing Palaces and Monuments of India and explore some of the most impressive UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Dazzling Forts, Palaces and Monuments of Delhi are evidence of Mughal opulence and British sophistication. The Taj Mahal world’s greatest monument of love is definitely the highlight together with the visit to Agra Fort and local markets. Not to be missed is the Pink City of Jaipur to witness the rich architectural legacy of Jaipur merchants. We enjoy a wildlife safari at Ranthambore Tiger Reserve and spot various wild animals and look for the ultimate royal Bengal Tiger.
Day 01: Depart Australia – Arrive Delhi (-/-/-)
Morning flight to Delhi. On arrival meet with our local representative and assisted with a transfer to the hotel. Stay 2 nights in Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi (B/L/D)
After breakfast we enjoy guided sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi. Begin with Old Delhi as we drive past the renowned 17th Century landmark Lal Qila; the Red Fort Palace to reach Jama Masjid. Visit Jama Masjid; cycle rickshaws on our journey of Chandni Chowk. Visit the Gandhi Memorial before driving past New Delhi, the exterior the Parliament House, the War Memorial Arch (India Gate) and the Vice Regal Palace, the official residence of the President of India in New Delhi. Continue your sightseeing with the visit to Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar.
Day 03: Delhi – Jaipur (B/L/D)
After breakfast we will travel to Jaipur. Upon arrival at Jaipur, check in to the hotel. Rest of the evening at leisure to explore the colourful bazaar of this pink city.
Day 04: Jaipur (B/L/D)
Visit Amber Fort with a decorated elephant ride. Photo stop at – The Palace of the Wind. Afternoon enjoy Jaipur City including City Palace Museum and Jantar Mantar; one of the famed observatories (of the heavens) which provides accurate information to this day.
Day 05: Jaipur – Ranthambore (B/L/D)
Morning drive to Ranthambore National Park, one of the biggest and most renowned National Parks in Northern India. Enjoy a village tour before transferring to the hotel.
Day 06: Wildlife Safari (B/L/D)
Enjoy, morning and afternoon, safaris by canter (truck) in the Ranthambore National Park. The park is famous for its tigers and is one of the best locations in India to see the majestic predators in their natural habitat. The park is also home to many other reptiles, birds and wild animals.
Day 07: Ranthambore – Agra (B/L/D)
We drive towards Agra. Visit Fatehpur Sikri on the way, an outstanding example of Mughal architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Day 08: Agra – Delhi – Australia (B/-/-)
Morning pays a sunrise visit to Taj Mahal. Visit the impressive 16th century, Agra Fort. In the afternoon travel back to Delhi for your transfer to the airport for your flight home.
Day 09: Arrive Australia (-/-/-)
Arrive home in the evening.
