Day 01: Depart Australia (-/-/-)
Enjoy your overnight flight from Australia to Taipei.
Day 02: Arrive Taipei (-/-/-)
Welcome to Taipei! Upon arrival, meet and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy a half day tour to Chiufen village and the Northeast coast.
Day 03: Taipei – Hualien – Taitung (B/-/-)
Today will be an early start (5:30am), transfer to Taipei Railway Station to take scenic train to Hualien. Visit Shitiping Terranced rocks and Sanxiantai-Amis Folk Centre in the East coast National Scenic area. Check in at 5* Sheraton Taitung or similar for overnight stay.
Day 04: Taitung – East Rift Valley – Hualien (B/-/-)
Enjoy breakfast at hotel, then visit Luye Gaotai and Mr Brown Avenue, as well as Taitung’s Takeshi Kaneshiro Tree. You will then continue your tour to Matai’an Wetland Ecological Park. Check in at 5* Promiseland Resort & Lagoon or similar. Relax on an exotic Venice sensation boat ride at the hotel after check in.
Day 05: Hualien – Taroko Gorge – Jiaosi (B/-/-)
Travel by coach to Taroko Gorge, an exceptionally beautiful, narrow raving created by a river which has cut deep into the mountains of solid marble. Stops will be made at Evergreen Shrine, Swallow Grotto, Nine Turns of Tunnel, Marble Bridge, Tienshiang and Marble factory. Then, proceed to Jiaosi for overnight stay and check in to your Hotel.
Day 06: Jiaosi – Taipei (B/-/-)
Morning visit to the National Centre for traditional Arts, later visit King Car Kavalan Distillery to sample the famous Taiwan Whisky brand. Also visit Yuanshan Orchid garden before transferring back to Taipei. Check in at 5* Howard Plaza for overnight stay.
Day 07: Taipei – Seoul (B/-/-)
Enjoy a morning half day tour. You will be driving past the Presidential Office Building, Chiang Kai- Shek Memorial Hall (Taiwan Democracy Memorial Hall), Martyrs’ Shrine, National Palace Museum, Chinese Temple, and Handicraft Centre. In the late afternoon you can visit Shilin night market and enjoy the night of Taipei at your own pace. Later transfer to airport for your flight to Seoul. Upon arrival, meet and transfer to Ramada Hotel or similar for overnight stay.
Day 08: Seoul – Gongju – Buyeo – Jeongju – Gwangju (B/-/-)
This morning we depart Seoul for Gongju and visit Gongsanseong Fortress, then move to Buyeo, an ancient capital of Korea. Visit Baekje Cultural Land. Proceed to Jeonju to visit Hanok Village, showcasing 700 traditional Korean houses called Hanok. Transfer to Gwangju and check in at Gwangju Prado Hotel or similar.
Day 09: Gwangju – Suncheon – Yeosu (B/-/-)
Start your City Tour and visit Asia Munwha Maru for a Hub City of Asian Culture and Street of Arts. Move to Suncheon where you will visit Songgwangsa Temple and Suncheon Bay. Later transfer to nearby city Yeosu and visit local Fish market and sightseeing of Industrial Complex night scene. Check into hotel and enjoy your leisure time. Stay Yeosu The Ocean Resort or similar.
Day 10: Yeosu – Jinju – Busan – Gyeongju (B/-/-)
Transfer to Jinju and see Jinjuseong Castle. Proceed to Busan for a City Tour from Jagalchi Fishery Market – largest seafood market where you will have free time for lunch and wondering around. Later transfer to Gyeongju – a museum without walls. Overnight at Gyeongju Concord Hotel or similar.
Day 11: Gyeongju – Andong – Wonju (B/-/-)
Gyeongju City Tour in the morning including Bulguksa Temple. Move to Andong then visit Hahoe Folk Village. Travel to Wonju, decorated with the Chiaksan Mountain and the Seom River, it maintains a rich tradition and cultural relics. Stay Wonju Interborgo Hotel or similar.
Day 12: Wonju – Pyeongchang – Gangneung – Mt Sorak – Seoul (B/-/-)
This morning move to Pyeongchang – the venue of 2018 winter Olympic Games. Then move to nearby Gangneung, located between the Eastern sea and the mountain ridge, well-known for wide pine forests, clear sandy beaches and crystal blue sea. Visit Seongyojang Folklore Materials Pavilion (residence of noble class) Short drive to Sokcho Mt. Seorak National Park listed as UNESCO world heritage.Return to Seoul and check in at Ramada Hotel for overnight stay.
Day 13: Seoul – Tokyo (B/-/-)
After breakfast, start your half day tour including Gyeongbokgung Palace, The Royal Guard Changing Ceremony, National Folk Museum, Korean Ginseng Centre. Afternoon free until transfer to airport for your flight to Tokyo. You will be met by our representative and helped to board an airport bus to Shiba Park Hotel or similar for 2 nights stay.
Day 14: Tokyo (B/-/-)
After breakfast, start your Tokyo Morning Tour including Meiji Shrine, Imperial Palace East Garden. Visit Asakusa Kannon temple and its shopping arcade. We finish in Tokyo station for free time shopping. Return to your accommodation on your own.
Day 15: Tokyo – Mt Fuji – Hakone (B/L/-)
Your main suitcase will be transferred directly from Tokyo to Kyoto. You travel with just an overnight bag for your night in Hakone. Proceed to Mt.Fuji and join our Hakone Tour visiting Owakudani Boiling Valley, take Hakone Ropeway to the mountain top, Boat Cruise on Lake Ashi. After the tour, you will be transferred to Hakone hotel or similar. Enjoy hot spring facility in your Ryokan Resort tonight!
Day 16: Hakone – Kyoto – Nara – Kyoto (B/-/-)
Transfer to Odawara and take the bullet train to Kyoto in 2.5 hours. On arrival, meet our assistant and walk to the New Miyako hotel or similar for 2 nights stay. This afternoon you will make your own way to Kyoto Station to meet your guide, then enjoy Nara Walking Tour visiting Todaiji Temple, Nara Deer Park and Kofukuji Temple.
Day 17: Kyoto (B/L/-)
After breakfast, make your own way to Tully’s Coffee (or similar) to meet your guide. Start your Kyoto Full Day Tour visiting Kiyomizu Temple, Sanjusangedo Temple, Fushimi Inari Shrine and Arashiyama Bamboo Forest.
Day 18: Kyoto – Osaka (B/-/-)
Travel to Osaka by train, then check in to your hotel. Enjoy your day at leisure in Osaka for last minute shopping at famous Shinsaibashi mall.
Day 19: Depart Osaka (B/-/-)
After breakfast, free of leisure until transfer to Kansai International Airport by Airport Shuttle bus for your flight back to Australia.
