Manila, Bacolod, Masskara Festival
Held the last Sunday in October, the Masskara Festival is also known as the celebration of smiles. Locals dress up in bright costumes and masks to get rid of sadness and negativity. On this fantastic tour you will get to participate in the festival, as well as explore the cultural and historical highlights of Manila and Bacolod.
Day 01: Arrive Manila (-/-/D) [OCT 25]
After collecting your luggage, proceed to the Arrival Area for your Meet and greet. A short drive from the airport, check-in at your hotel where a relaxing local drink will revive you. 1730H Assembly at the lobby proceed to Barbara’s Heritage Restaurant and officially kickoff your holiday with an unforgettable “Welcome to the Philippines!” Dinner with Cultural Show. A showcase of Filipino culture: traditional dances from North to South. In an atmosphere of a typical “barrio fiesta”, exotic dishes and delicacies are served for you to sample and savor. The evening affair is highlighted by a special presentation of folk dances by graceful maidens and dashing lads in authentic native costumes.
Day 02: Manila – Bacolod City (B/-/-) [OCT 26]

Bacolod is the highly urbanized capital, communication, trade and service center of the Province of Negros Occidental, in the heart of the Philippine Archipelago. Meet and greet at the airport and proceed to your hotel for check-in.
Day 03: Bacolod City – Paseo de Negros Day Tour (B/L/-) [OCT 27]
Start your City Tour and experience a happy blending of cosmopolitan and rustic lifestyle in the sugar capital of the country. Celebrate nature’s blessings: waterfalls, caves, mountains, rivers, springs and valleys. Visiting stately mansions in Silay City. Places of interest: Bacolod Public Plaza, The San Sebastian Cathedral, Provincial Capitol Lagoon, Ramon Hofilena Ancestral Home, Silay City, Grand Ancestral Houses, The Ruins. Lunch at Manokan Country.
Day 04: Bacolod City – Masskara Festival (B/L/-) [OCT 28]
Enjoy the fabulous Masskara Festival! Celebrated every fourth Sunday of October, the word Masskara means a multitude of smiling faces which is the highlight of the festival, specifically featuring smiling faces of masks for the city is well-known as the city of smiles. The highlight of the festival is the street dance competitions. Lunch at local restaurant. Back to hotel late in the afternoon.
Day 05: Bacolod – Manila (B/-/-) [OCT 29]
After breakfast, the rest of the morning is free at leisure until check-out and transfer to Bacolod Airport. Flight Schedule* 1425H Time of departure in Bacolod for Manila via PR#2134 1550H Time of arrival in Manila Meet and greet at the airport and proceed to hotel.
Day 06: Depart Manila – Arrive Australia (B/-/-) [OCT 30]
After breakfast your day is free at leisure, or perhaps you might like to add an Optional tour of Manila City or a Shopping Tour. In the afternoon Check-out and proceed to International Airport for your flight back home.
