Day 1: Arrive Yangon (-/-/D)
Arrive in Yangon and transfer to your hotel. Yangon, formerly known as Rangoon, is still a relatively quiet and charming city. It’s impressive colonial and spiritual heritage makes Yangon one of the most fascinating and authentic capitals of South-East Asia. Meet and greet your local guide. Yangon downtown sightseeing includes; Sule Pagoda to take a photo shot for a panoramic view of city, Kaba Aye (World Peace) Pagoda, Maha Pasana Cave, Buddha Tooth Relic Pagoda, and Chaukhtat-gyi Reclining Buddha Image – a colossal reclining Buddha Image. In the early evening visit Shwedagon Pagoda (Landmark of Yangon), a 2500 year old world famous stupa, and admire the beautiful sunset. Dinner at Local Restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.
Day 2: Yangon – Bago – Yangon (B/L/-)
After breakfast at the hotel, visit Htautkyant War Cemetery. Proceed to Bago. Visit Kyat Khat Wine Monastery and take in a splendid scene of offering alms (food given to thousands of monks) and Bago Market. Enjoy Ayeyarwaddy Roasted Prawn & Chinese food for lunch. After lunch, visit Seinthalyaung Pagoda, the Weaving Factory in Mon Village where you can learn about the local way of life, and Chinese Temple. En route to Yangon, visit the White Elephant and Marble Sitting Buddha, and enjoy dinner at a restaurant. Overnight in Yangon.
Day 3: Yangon – Thanlyin (Syriam) – Yangon (B/L/-)
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Thanlyin (Syriam) across the Yangon River via Thanlyin Bridge built by Chinese Engineers, an opportunity to see the countryside around Yangon. Visit the fascinating local market in Thanlyin. Drive to Kyauk Tan. Visit Yele Phaya (Pagoda on a small island in the middle of the river), a popular place of pilgrim- ages. Drive back to Yangon. Farewell Lunch including delicious Beijing Roasted Duck. After lunch, visit Nan Thida Jetty, Botataung Pagoda, spend free time shopping at Bogyoke (Scott) Market, and stop for shopping at a Silver Shop. Enjoy a themed dinner at Karaweik Palace Floating Restaurant with an entertaining cultural show. Overnight in Yangon.
Day 4: Depart Yangon (B/-/-)
Free at leisure until your transfer to the airport for your next flight.
