Northern Luzon World Heritage Tour (10 Days)

Day 01: Arrive Manila (-/-/-)

Arrive in Manila, meet and greet. Transfer to hotel for check-in. Overnight accommodation at St. Giles Hotel (3*) OR Hotel Jen (4*) OR The Manila Hotel (5*).

Day 02: Manila (B/-/-)

Breakfast inside the hotel. Your Manila half day tour starts right in the heart of Philippines’s financial district, the city of Makati. Have a glimpse of Makati’s hustle and bustle as you drive through on your way to the capital city, Manila. Onwards Rizal Park on scenic Roxas Boulevard, arrive in Intramuros, “The Walled City”, to see ancient walls, church ruins and relics from Spain’s Conquistadores. Sites to visit: American War Cemetery, Rizal Park, Fort Santiago, San Agustin and Manila Cathedral, running tour at Cultural Centre Complex along Roxas Boulevard if time permits. After the tour, transfer back to your hotel.

Day 03: Tagaytay Ridge Tour (B/L/-)

After breakfast, enjoy Tagaytay Ridge Tour about an hour and a half drive south of Manila lies the picturesque City of Tagaytay. It offers a panoramic view of Taal Lake and Volcano, the “lake within a volcano within a lake within a volcano”. This vista can be savored from atop the People’s Park in the Sky. Stop by the Bam- boo Organ of Las Piñas and a local jeepney assembly plant on your way back. Lunch will be served at a Local Restaurant. You will be back in Manila late afternoon.

Day 04: Manila – Laoag – Vigan (B/-/-)

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Domestic Airport for your flight to Laoag. Upon arrival, meet and greet at the airport. Enjoy afternoon city tour. LAOAG – llocos Norte (2 Hours away from Vigan – Long before Laoag was established in 1580 with St. William the hermit as its patron Saint, Chinese and Japanese merchants visited the area, which was renowned for its gold mining. Loaog eventually became the capital of Ilocos Norte and Loyal Marcos Country. Your sightseeing includes St. Williams Cathedral, Paoay Church and Malacanang Of The North. Proceed to Vigan for check in and overnight at Vigan Plaza Hotel (3*) OR Hotel Luna (4*).

Day 05: Vigan – Baguio (B/-/-)

Start your Vigan Heritage morning Tour Spanishera mansions, cobblestone streets and Kalesa (horse drawn carriage) are the hallmarks of historic Vigan. Miraculously spared by bombing in WWII, Vigan was designated a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE. Sightseeing includes Archibishop Palace, St. Paul‘S Cathedral, Mestizo District,Padre Jose Burgos National Museum ,Pottery Factories Or Pagburnayan ,Santa Maria Church. Proceed to Baguio in the afternoon. Overnight at Microtel Inn & Suites – Baguio (3*) OR Baguio Burnham Suites (4*) OR Camp John Hay (4*).

Day 06: Baguio – Bontoc – Sagada (B/-/-)

Breakfast at Hotel. Morning tour to Baguio city. Baguio is the gateway to the mighty Cordillera Mountain Range and the city offers the best handicrafts particularly wooden and metal ornaments. Sightseeing includes: Baguio Botanical Garden, Baguio Cathedral, Burnham Park, Baguio City Market. After the tour, transfer to Sagada via scenic Halsema Highway. Overnight at St. Josephs Inn in Sagada.

Day 07: Sagada – Bontoc – Banaue (B/-/-)

This morning we proceed to Sagada.Visiting the picturesque town of Sagada, stopping to see their ancient burial caves with mum-mified coffins. The visit also includes the Bontoc Museum, founded by a Belgian Sister, which houses a varied collection of authentic artifacts and photos from the mountain tribes. Proceed to Banaue for check in. Overnight at Banaue Hotel (3*)

Day 8: Hapao Village Rice Terraces (B)

Breakfast in the hotel. After breakfast, we travel by jeepney to visit the picturesque town of Hapao, where you will see the Banaue rice terraces, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This includes soft hiking down the hill to terraces & village. Overnight stay in Banaue.

Day 09: Banaue – Manila (B/-/-)

Depart Banaue for Manila via San Jose and north expressway. The gateway to Banaue is through the land locked evergreen provinces of Nueva Ecija and Nueva Vizcaya. Countryside settings such as rice fields surrounding the small towns and villages are common sight showing simplicity of living. Arrival in Manila, proceed to hotel for check-in, Overnight at St. Giles Hotel (3*) OR Hotel Jen (4*) OR The Manila Hotel (5*).

Day 10: Depart Manila (-/-/-)

Free at leisure until transfer to airport for your next home.
