Day 01: Depart Australia (-/-/-)

Enjoy your overnight flight to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 02: Arriving Ho Chi Minh City (-/-/-)

You will be met on arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport and transfer to your hotel for the night.

Day 03: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta (B/L/D)

Enjoy a cruise on the Mekong River, stopping to visit small islands whose occupants will show you how to make coconut candy. Aft er tasting the candy, you will make a short trek to the fruit gardens, and enjoy tropical fruit, a visit to a beekeeping farm for local tea, as well as traditional local music. A rowing boat will take you through the canals and plentiful coconut trees of Ben Tre Province. Aft er lunch you will drive back to Ho Chi Minh for a city tour, including the Reunification Palace or War Remand Museum, as well as City Hall, Post Off ice Centre, Notre Dame, or Grand Theatre.

Day 04: Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi – Tay Ninh (B/L/D)

After breakfast, visit the Cu Chi Tunnels (70km from Ho Chi Minh City), the former stronghold of the Viet Cong. The network of tunnels stretch for over 200km and three levels underground. Continue to Tay Ninh and visit a place of pilgrimage at the Cao Dai Holy See Temple. The temple is unique as it is a place of worship for Daoism, a religion of Southern Vietnam.

Day 05: Ho Chi Minh City – Da Lat (B/L/D)

Today you will fly to the beautiful ‘City of Eternal Spring’ Da Lat. The town has a distinct French Colonial Heritage and is regarded as the honeymoon capital of Vietnam. With pleasant Spring like weather all year round, it is an area constantly abundant with flowers. Visit the beautiful City Flower Park, local markets, and ride the train to the oldest train station in Vietnam, Trai Mat, where you can explore the village. Return to Da Lat for the evening.

Day 06: Da Lat – Nha Trang (B/L/D)

Continue your tour of Da Lat by visiting the Zen Pagoda, then the Summer Palace of the late King Bao Dai. Visit a local jam maker then enjoy lunch before transferring to Nha Trang. Upon arrival in Nha Trang you will check in to your hotel for the next two nights.

Day 07: Nha Trang (B/L/-)

Enjoy breakfast in the hotel then take a boat ride to Mun Island where you can snorkel in the crystal clear blue water. Aft er lunch, take a tour of Pagoda Temple, Chong Rock, the Giant Buddha, Long Son Pagoda, and meander along the white beaches and amongst local shops.

Day 08: Nha Trang – Danang – Hoi An (B/L/D)

After breakfast you will continue your journey north. Take a short flight to Danang and transfer to the World Heritage Listed city of Hoi An. With Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, and French influences, this Old Port Town is very popular with tourists. Visit the home of an old merchant, the 400 year old Japanese Covered Bridge, and the colourful markets. Stay overnight in Hoi An.

Day 09: Hoi An (B/L/-)

Take a bicycle ride to Thanh Dong Organic Farm, the first and only organic farm in Hoi An. At the farm you will experience daily farm life and the benefits of organic farming. Enjoy a bamboo boat ride followed by a cooking class and organic lunch. Spend the afternoon at your leisure, exploring Hoi An.

Day 10: Hoi An – Hue (B/L/D)

Take the scenic Hai Van Pass drive to Hue, with a stop at the magnificent Marble Mountains on the way. As the Imperial Capital of Vietnam, Hue is rich with history and culture. Once in Hue, visit the tombs of King Tu Duc and Khai Dinh. The Tomb of Tu Duc, a 19th Century Emperor is set among beautiful frangipani and pine trees. While travelling between the tombs, stop to see local families making incense and traditional Vietnamese hats. You will then enjoy a relaxing boat trip on the Perfume River. Stay in Hue overnight.

Day 11: Hue – Hanoi (B/L/D)

A visit to Hue wouldn’t be completed without a visit to the Imperial Citadel, modelled on the Forbidden City in Beijing. The Citadel was the centrepiece of the royal empire, a marvellous palace that was extensively damaged during the Vietnam War. Enjoy a light lunch at a local restaurant before your afternoon flight to Hanoi. Transfer to the hotel for check in and enjoy a unique water puppet show.

Day 12: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B/L/D)

After breakfast, enjoy a half day tour of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed Mondays and Friday during September and October), One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, and Hoan Kiem Lake. In the afternoon you will travel through the striking rural countryside of the Red River Delta, part of Halong Bay (known as the ‘Jewel in the Crown’ of Vietnam).

Day 13: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B/L/-)

Today you will enjoy a five-hour cruise of Halong Bay and explore Thien Cung Caves, filled with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. This will be followed by a delicious seafood lunch on board the boat. In the aft ernoon you will travel back to Hanoi for the night.

Day 14: Depart Hanoi (B/-/-)

After breakfast, enjoy the day free at your leisure before transferring to the airport for your overnight flight back to Australia.

Day 15: Arrive Australia (-/-/-)

Arrive home and reminisce about your fantastic experience in Vietnam!
