Tour Itinerary

You will be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel in Kyoto for the next three nights.

Explore Kyoto on a full day tour. Wander through the Kiyomizu and Sanju-san-gen-do Temples, before marvelling at the famous Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine. Walk through the vibrant bamboo at the Arashiyama Forest, and admire the Tenryu-ji Temple. You will also see the lustrous Kinkakuji Temple, also known as the Golden Pavillion. Your tour finishes at Kyoto Station, then you are free to explore at your leisure and make your own way back to your hotel.

Enjoy the morning on a walking tour of Nara. You will have time to explore Todaji Temple with its Great Buddha, then interact with the famous deer in Nara Park. The deer have learnt to bow for food and are extremely friendly! Wander through UNESCO World Heritage Listed Kofukuji Temple (the second largest wooden Pagoda in Japan), before returning to Kyoto. Your tour will finish at Kyoto Station, and you have the afternoon free to explore at your own leisure.

Today enjoy the ride of the famous Bullet Train to Shinagawa (Tokyo). On arrival you will make your own way to your hotel and check in for the next three nights.

Travel by coach to majestic Mount Fuji. You will travel up to the famous 5th Station (weather dependant), before visiting Owakudani Boiling Valley. After a delicious lunch, continue to the Hakone Ropeway, and enjoy a boat ride on beautiful Lake Ashi. Return to Tokyo late in the afternoon, explore at your own leisure and make your own way back to your hotel.

After breakfast the day is free at your leisure for you to explore the bustling metropolis of Tokyo at your own pace. You could also add on an optional Nikko World Heritage Tour.

The day is free at your leisure until it is time to transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
