Day 01: ARRIVE HANOI (-/-/-)
Welcome to Hanoi! The capital of Vietnam, it is known for its cultural fusion of Southeast Asian and French influences. You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel for the next three nights.
Day 02: HANOI (B/-/-)
Today you will enjoy a day tour in Hanoi. After breakfast, you will start your day with a visit to the Museum of Ethnology (closed on Mondays – alternative is the Vietnamese Women’s Museum), which showcases traditional art, clothing, and longhouses from 45 different ethnic groups. You will then visit the Temple of Literature, founded in 1070 and dedicated to Confucius, it is also the site of Vietnam’s first University. Your tour then takes you to the Ho Chi Minh Memorial Complex, and to an outside viewing of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Stilt House. After, explore the beautiful miniature 11th Century, One Pillar Pagoda. In the late afternoon you will enjoy the traditional coffee at Hoan Kiem Lake, before taking an electric buggy to the Old Quarter.
Day 03: HANOI (B/-/-)
Following breakfast, enjoy your day at leisure or enjoy an optional tour to beautiful Halong Bay (pre booking essential).

You will be transferred to and from the Tuan Chau Marina Port. Onboard your L’Azalee Classic Day Cruise you with explore the incredible limestone karsts, as well as many islands and the Ba Hang Floating Village. Day 04: HANOI – DANANG – HOI AN (B/-/-)
Today you will fly from Hanoi to Danang, where you will be met and transferred to Hoi An (approximately 35kms). In Hoi An you will enjoy a half day walking tour in order to fully explore and appreciate the beauty of this historic city. Some of the sites you may visit include Quan Cong Temple, Phuoc Kien Pagoda, the Japanese Covered Bridge, Tran Family Chapel, Sa Huynh Museum, Phunh Hung House, and Quang Dong Pagoda (5 sites usually visited depending on availability etc). Check in to your hotel for the next three nights.
Day 05: HOI AN (B/-/-)
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, then the day is yours to explore beautiful Hoi An. An optional day tour to Hue is available (pre booking essential).

Cross the spectacular Hai Van Pass on your way from Hoi An to Hue. Explore the ruins of the Old Imperial City, as well as the Imperial Tomb of Tu Duc, taking in the tranquil atmosphere and gracefully proportioned pavilions, courtyards, and lotus ponds. Lunch is included. The tour takes approximately 9 – 10 hours.
Day 06: HOI AN (B/-/-)
Today is also yours to explore Hoi An at your own pace. You could also take an optional tour to My Son, the former religious centre of the Champa Kingdom.

Learn about Cham history and culture before wandering through the forested paths of My Son’s five archaeological ruins. Your English speaking guide will ensure you develop an appreciation for the 4th to 13th Century civilisation leader, Champa Kingdom. *Lunch is not included.
Day 07: HOI AN – HO CHI MINH (B/-/-)
Travel from Hoi An to Danang Airport, and fly to Ho Chi Minh. Upon arrival you will enjoy a half day tour of this vibrant metropolis. Your first stop will be the Reunification Palace, which was invaded by tanks in 1975, signifying the fall of South Vietnam. Then drive to the Emperor of Jade Pagoda, as well as the Notre Dame Cathederal and Central Post Office. You will pass by classic European style landmarks such as the City Hall and old Opera House. Finish your tour by wandering through Ben Thanh Market, with its wide variety of unique goods and traditional handicrafts. Check in to your hotel for the next two nights.
Day 08: HO CHI MINH (B/L/-)
After breakfast you will travel to rustic Ben Tre, where you can explore the beautiful nature and landscapes of the Mekong Delta. You will cycle along shady paths to visit local antique collector Uncle Six, who sells ceramics and can also show you how to climb coconut trees bare handed. Continue your ride, along rural pathways amongst the small tributaries of the Mekong. Take a cruise through the small canals by row boat, transfer to a motorised boat, and enjoy a local home hosted lunch. In the afternoon you will see how local sweets and rice paper are made, before returning to your hotel.
Day 09: DEPART HO CHI MINH (B/-/-)
Enjoy your last breakfast at the hotel before transferring to the airport for your homebound flight.
